Curtis Walker

WELCOME!
My name is Curtis Walker. I excel at building relationships with people and wish to further my career in fields where interaction with others is a high priority. I utilize jobs and internships as tools to garner insight, professional experience and resources. I understand that no matter how insignificant a task may seem, detail orientation is necessary and is essential for personal and professional growth.
I am interested in opportunities to network in the areas of communication and education.

"Curtis has truly evolved as a leader on campus and is a fine example of what we, as educational professionals, hope for every student. I have known Curtis for close to 5 years, as I worked with him in high school during his admission process at JCU and I must say, I have been pleasantly surprised at the young man he has become."

“O my God, teach me to be generous,
teach me to serve you as I should,
to give without counting the cost,
to fight without fear of being wounded,
to work without seeking rest,
to labor without expecting any reward,
but the knowledge that I am doing your most holy will.”
― St. Ignatius of Loyola
During Friday Night Fever, I traveled across the Greater Cleveland area to high school sporting events. There, I captured video footage, still photographs and obtained player and team statistics.
I then returned to WKYC-TV to edit footage, post photographs on to WKYC website and social media platforms. Finally, I composed a synopsis story of the game's highlights, in addition to relevant background information of both teams.
